Seoul and So is the newest addition at National Gallery, owned by the Rhee siblings.

The interior is super aesthetic, with a tree located right in the middle of the restaurant that gives off a really calming vibe.

If you want the best lighting, head there around 5/6pm

For pricing, they offer two options:
1. Tasting course (9-course meal) starting from $95, and
2. Lunch set (4-course meal) starting from $35.

In our opinion, the lunch set is definitely a great value!

We tried the lunch set (from $35), which comes with four mains to choose from:

• Jeju pork belly or Iberico pork collar
• Short ribs (USDA Prime) or rib fingers (Aus Wagyu 6/7)

Our top picks were the rib fingers — they literally melted in our mouths. For the pork belly, the meat-to-fat ratio was just right, giving it a super juicy texture!

And the best part? You don’t have to worry about grilling — the staff will grill everything for you on the spot.

The lunch set also comes with four post-meal options:
• Kimchi jjigae
• Doenjang jjigae
• Mul naengmyeon
• Naeng kalguksu

Both the jjigae was warm and hearty! We loved how the soup was really flavourful without being overly salty.

If you love cold noodles, the naeng kalguksu is a must-order — it has a spicy, sweet, and sour combination that’s super refreshing. Definitely one of the more unique items to try here!

Overall, we think this Korean steakhouse is definitely worth visiting at least once — and ngl, we’d totally come back again!
