Hougang is so happening now!
There are so many new openings in Hougang, and this is one you shouldn’t miss! Known for its popularity in Kyoto, Onimaru has opened its first store right inside Hougang Mall.
They have over 15 onigiri flavours to choose from, with prices starting at $2.20.
Here’s what we tried:
Shrimp Tempura ($4.80) – One of their bestsellers. Topped with three prawns, it’s juicy and pairs really well with the rice.
Grilled Pork Egg ($4.30) – Slightly on the saltier side, but still a decent and satisfying option.
