HONE. Bakes is a new micro bakery in Tanjong Pagar/Shenton Way, specialising in sourdough shiopan and Bagels, Korean-inspired gateaus, Cheesecake and more!
Run by a mother-daughter duo, everything is made in-house, from their sourdough shio pans and bagels to their decadent gateaus.

One of the must-tries is the Matcha Black Sesame Gateau ($12) — an umami-packed dessert with a creamy mochi filling that’s seriously addictive. The Choco Tiramisu Cheesecake Gateau ($11) is another highlight, coming in a generous portion that’s good for around 3 pax. It’s creamy, chocolatey and not overly sweet.

For their sourdough bakes, we visited around 10:30am and found that almost everything was already sold out! We managed to get the Chocolate Almond Bagel ($5.50), which was lightly sweet with just the right amount of chocolate and a fluffy sourdough texture.
The Chicken Floss Pumpkin Bagel ($6) is a savoury option, combining fluffy sourdough with chicken floss and pumpkin for a slightly sweet and savoury bite.

If you’re planning to check out this new bakery, we highly recommend going early, around 8:30am when they first open, so you won’t be disappointed and can enjoy a wider variety of bakes!
