New Aesthetic Cafe Opens in the West - Kin Joe Coffee

Started as a home cafe, this spot has finally opened up it's first coffee kiosk in the west. They serve a wide range of specialty coffee along with small bites and bakes

We went with the iced latte ($6), which has a smooth, well-balanced blend that’s not too acidic. As part of their soft launch throughout August, you can also enjoy 30% off all drinks (our iced latte only cost- $4.20. They also serve matcha, so we’ll definitely be back soon to give it a try!

Aside from drinks, they also serve a selection of small bites and toasties. We tried the Matcha Ganache Croffin ($4.50). While it’s slightly on the sweeter side, the rich, umami-packed matcha balances it out. Another highlight is the Honey Madeleine ($2.70), which has a very soft and fluffy texture!

They’re currently open from Friday to Monday, so if you’re looking for a weekend caffeine fix, this spot is definitely worth checking out!
